How to calculate work hours
Subtract your start time from your end time, then subtract any unpaid break time.
Work hours = End time − Start time − Unpaid break
Example
If you work from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, your shift lasts 8 hours 30 minutes. After subtracting a 30-minute unpaid break, your total work time is 8 hours.
What if a shift crosses midnight?
If your end time is earlier than your start time, Numviro assumes the shift ended the following day. For example, 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM is treated as an 8-hour overnight shift before breaks.
