Calculate your pay raise

Choose your pay type and enter the raise you expect.

Results are gross pay estimates before taxes, deductions, bonuses, and benefits.

How to calculate a pay raise

For a percentage raise, multiply your current pay by the raise percentage and add the increase to your current pay.

New pay = Current pay × (1 + Raise percentage ÷ 100)

Example

A 5% raise on a $60,000 annual salary adds $3,000 per year, bringing the new annual salary to $63,000.

Fixed amount raises

If your employer gives a fixed increase instead of a percentage, select "Fixed amount" and enter the amount directly. For hourly workers, enter the hourly increase. For salaried workers, enter the annual increase.
